For years we have specialised in the supply of medication to these areas and we have gathered valuable experience. The Medinoxx System is a monitored dosage system that can accommodate liquid and solid medication. That, alongside our EMAR medication and MDS racking tray systems, we have simple, safe and time-saving medication dispensing methods that enable us to provide the most effective service to our customers.
We are the ONLY independent pharmacy to have developed a medication management module which is accredited by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, and covers all aspects of medication from administration to destruction.
The module is developed for carers and nurses to gain sufficient knowledge in order to confidently and safely understand all aspects of medicines in the care environment. This covers a wide spectrum of topics from; understanding prescriptions, to supplying, administration, auditing, storage and disposal of medications.
The training course is co-written by TWO pharmacists with over 20 years combined experience within the pharmacy/care home sector.
The face-to-face training is also delivered by the developer of the module and therefore we are enable to ensure the course is delivered to the highest of professional standards.
We strongly believe our training course covers all the necessary and fundamental aspects of medication administration. This will in-turn provide all care home providers with certainty and clarity that their medication policy is effective and their staff are trained in the most proficient manner to fully protect those within their care.
We also offer FREE medication training for care homes which we service. Other services we offer include medication audits, medication policy writing, covert administration sheets and pharmacist advice visits.
